Joel,
Sorry about the slow reply...

Cambron was upgraded from copilot to first pilot on November 27, 1944.  
He flew as first pilot that day only.  He filled in as copilot on 
various crews until that fateful day.  I don't believe he was ever 
assigned a crew and was being used where needed.
