The mission you are referring to above, I believe, was mission # 305 on 
January 21, 1945.  I had also learned about this accident in researching 
information on my father-in-law, Kirkland Price.  It turns out that Mr. 
Price's last mission was Dec. 31, 1944, exactly 3 weeks before the accident 
which downed two B-17s.  Most all of his missions were with the Fontana crew 
which was Co-Piloted by, 1st Lt. Richard H. Cambron.  Lt. Cambron happened 
to be Co-Pilot on one of the planes which collided, and he died that day. 
He is buried in Lorraine American Cemetery and Memorial, France.  You may
