[303rd-Talk] Nose art

Since I was a Sgt in Air Corp supply and had no real contact 
with the nose art. I can offer only what at the time was the
rumor that a plane by the name of Piccadilly Commando 
was requested to remove the name as the  British were 
offended'.

I checked the 303rds nose art & did not find the name. 
"Search" revealed two "hits"..Both refered to THE Piccadilly 
Commandos.  A web search revealed that a B-24 had that name.
