To all who have given me information and directed me to other places where I could gain more.

Several years ago, I put a request out for information on survivors of aircraft that was shot down and pow's.  Just recently, I've had a couple of responses to that and have once again been able to get in contact with Phil Cascio who was also a member of Spook and was shot down with my Dad.  After a rather lenghty conversation with him, he told me to put all the rest of my questions in writing and send them to him and he would do his best to answer.  What a gracious man he still is.  He's going to be 90 in November, yet it seemed he could relate things about being shot down and the subsequent years as if they had happened just yesterday.

When I thanked him, he contradicted me and said he owed the thanks to me for being interested.  How gracious is that!

Anyway, all of this has come about due to this forum and many other things I've had answers to are straight from here.

So again, I thank you.
