My wife's uncle, Harold Blaisdell, was an engine repair mechanic in
the 8th AF during the war. His TDY was from Oct 1943 to June 1945. He
recalls being stationed at a field somewhere near Bristol and also at
a central engine rebuilding facility that was near a town call
Buttonwood or Buntingwood. Can you help me find the location of 
these?
