Gloria,

You are one of the main reason this site exists. It is here to help
others. When it is able to help a special person like yourself with some
questions, and then find some answers, then the goal of this site and
others like it is fulfilled. I know we all call it "keeping the memories
alive", but it is something more than that, too.
Finding answers and gaining knowledge of long lost people for the good
of those still with us...well, that has to rank right up there.
Hope your turkeys were all top-rate...heheh.

I just wanted to thank Gary and all who contribute to this site, and to 
tell you why it means so much to me. My father was a B-17 pilot who did 
not return. He was killed 3 months before I was born. If not for this 
site, I would know next to nothing about my father, Roger W. Erickson. 
My mother was so devastated by his death, that she won't talk about him 
or the war. Thank you so much for making the history and these stories 
available for those who remain and care.
