To my Dear Friends & you others,
Sooner or later we are going to run out of oil. This is true of an awful lot of other items Lke Copper , Alunimum, Asphalt, breathable air, Clean water, Crop and grazing land. etc and etc.
We as a human spiecie cannot continue to double our population every 42 years and expect our little planet earth to continue to provide for us. I know of no easy answers. If we fail mother nature will trake over Believe me that shall not be easy.
If there is still life on our earth it shall consist of something like ants and cockroaches
I predict this will be completed in about 84 years. 84 years is not a very long time.
If we have a one penny and double we have 2 pennys, When we double that we have 4 pennys. Then 8. Get the picture?
Some of our children and grand children will still be alive to be eliminated by unfailing Mother Nature.
Good bye Dear Friends it was great fun while it lasted.
----
Very Best Wishes,
Modest & Humble Jack Rencher Just possiblly 1 of the 2 best damn 4 engine pilots in the mighty 8th Air Force.

It is claimed that Americans are addicted to Oil. When Congress speaks it is no wonder that Americans seem to grasp their idiocies. It is akin to saying we are addicted to food! Oil is a NECESSITY in our lives. Try filling your gas tank with a windmill or a solar panel. These mythical ideas that we can replace Oil with some other type of energy producing schemes are the thinking of those with sophistry. It is nefarious to say the least. Think of all the amenities in your home which you enjoy by merely turning on a switch. None of that would come from windmill farms or solar panels!
It is necessary to call Ethanol what it truly is. A disaster. It is such tomfoolery that Iowa may soon be IMPORTING Corn. The US has tried to use Ethanol for more than three decades. Ethanol produces poor mileage; corrodes the fuel lines; and harms gas tanks. It could do harm to the automobile engine. And its manufacture increases food prices. It is certainly not the answer to our fuel problem.
It is said that we Americans, with our addiction to Oil, should find ways NOT to buy our Oil from foreign sources. We do NOT need to do that! We have PLENTY of our own Oil! If only our hapless Congress would allow us to DRILL OUR OWN! Their pandering to the envirowackos clouds their ability to see logic. Not only do we have plenty in Alaska, as yet not drilled. We have more than enough for our needs in our offshore banks and in the Gulf of Mexico. And none of this considers the billions of barrels in the Caribbean. Chevron proved that source decades ago. And, what is more beautiful than seeing brilliantly lit Oil rigs off the Coast of California on a clear night? It is like Christmas all year round.
Our fatuous Congress is a bunch of snollygosters too long in the job. Remember, this Fall, DO NOT VOTE FOR AN INCUMBENT, no matter WHAT the Party!
