_The Boys are Back Art_
(http://www.historicaviation.com/historicaviation/product_info.po?ID=12438&product=Art&category=ww&subcategory=USAAF%20Bombers)
This is a print signed by four members of the 303rd in the Historic Aviation
catalog that I saw. Also there is a CD or DVD, I can't remember, of the 303rd
that is offered in the catalog. Does anyone recognize the picture of the
three planes? I think one has side marking near the American insignia that is VKK
and a K underneath the C in the triangle. the catalog can be downloaded
online by typing in _www.historicaviation.com_ (http://www.historicaviation.com) .
I think the members would be very interested in the print and CD.
I also wanted to ask if any member was familiar with the 379th BG at
Kimbolton which was close to Molesworth. My girlfriend,s great uncle was in the
379th. He is in a nursing home in Sullivan, Illinois, and I was asking him about
where he was at in the war. He told me he was at Kimbolton. He also told me
that he flew to Fogia, Italy in a B-29 to take radio bombing training for night
bombing. I told him Fogia was near my dad's base in Cernolga. He said that
there were a few B-29's in Europe that people did not know about. I also saw
on the Military Channel that there was a group of B-29's in England, but it
was not known by very many people and kept quite. Could anyone elaborate on
this.
Thanks,
Terry Lucas
