The undersigned has not had e-mail for a while and is trying to catch up. I see a question but I didn't see an answer so here goes.
I.P. Stands for Initial Point.. That is were we started our Bomb Run. The Bombardiers Bomba sight could send the bombardiers corrections he put into his bomb sight to the c-1 auto pilot if it was being used and the auto pilot would put in the necessary corrections as to course.? If the Pilot was flying the plane manually the corecton would go to the PDI. The Pilot Direction Indacator. ?this instrument had a simple vericle needle and it was the? pilots job to keep the needle centered by turning the plane left or right to do so.as indiicatede by the needle? in the PDI. Of couse he also should be holding the airspeed and altitude as scheduled.?with ?C 1 auto pilot or manual control.

???? Happy New Year,????? Jack Rencher
