THAT MEMORY IS STILL VERY VIVID EVEN AFTER 67 YEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!

As tomorrow [Sunday] is the 7th so it was then!!!  After church My future wife 
had dinner with my family. We went for a ride in the hills. We were driving 
around talking of the scenery & myself keeping an eye out for jack rabbits
and predators. Oh YES!!!! My favorite .22 Marlin rifle was always some where
 in the vehicle I was driving. Hard to believe the radio announcement.
Went to Omaha Welding School in Omaha NE, until last of March.
Enlisted on April 13.---Glasgow Scotland Octobe 7 & Molesworth Oct 8.

The first mont or two I drew $21 a month.
