Even  though  I  was unable  to  open  the  link  to  your  Dad's  obit - I offer my sincere  condolences.
We keep losing these great folks.
 
And,  Like  You,  I  will  remain  a  faithful  reader  of  these  postings.
This  forum  and  the  303rd's  site  has  become  a  window  into  a  part  of  my  father's  life
that  he  chose  not to  revisit, much,  lest  he  got caught  dwelling  on it..   Yet,  there  came  
a  time  when  the  inquisitive  kid (me) wanted  to  know  exactly  what  went  on.    He  had 
compartmentalized that  era  and  didn't want  to  bring  it  back  down  off  the  shelf.   
 I  respect  his  choice.
