[303rd-Talk] Question about B-17 propellers

Hi
   I received an EMAIL from a man in Belgium, who found a propeller near 
Frankfurt Germany.   He said that he searched the 303rdbg.com site, and found 
that at least 2 planes went down near where it was found, so he thought that 
it might be a B-17 prop, however he said that his research showed that B-24 
props were similar, so he wanted to know if there was any way to identify it.  

He sent 2 pictures of the prop, one of which shows what seem to be some serial 
numbers that might help to identify it.  The pictures are at:

Anyway, if anyone can tell whether or not this is a B-17 prop, you can either
