[303rd-Talk] Hollywood vs. Reality Question

In most of the documentaries and movies I've seen, when bombs are dropped, you hear a whistling as they are falling.  Could you actually hear bombs whistling as they were falling from the bomb bay and on their way to the target?  I would think those four big Cyclones would drown out any noise from a falling bomb.  Is this Hollywood or reality?
