After my last e-mail, I wrote to General Richard Devereaux at Sheppard AFB and here is what he says:
"Bob
Try e-mailing the wing historian at Goodfellow AFB in San Angelo. My friend, Col Dick Ayres, is the wing commander there and a former JAC commander. His historian, Dr. John Garret (cc'd above) can get the ball rolling for you.
Rick"
Dr. Dick Ayers e-mails is john.garrett at goodfellow.af.mil

Another tack to try is the wing historian, either at Mildenhal, or even
Alconbury (the majority of admin functions for Molesworth are probably dealt
with there).
they may be able to arrange for an escorted tour. I'm chiming in here as I
am disappointed that the historic displays have been moved into a secure
facility that limits the possibility of the ordinary person from viewing
them. I think a bit of persistence could turn the trick. Keep plugging
away.
