Chuck,
Hopefully I can clarify this somewhat. 
 
It is my understanding that Lt. John Griggs never had a diary. I have  spoken 
with his wife and family and John never had a diary that he wrote.
 
The diary I am transcribing is Lt. William A. Malone's who was the  navigator 
on John Griggs crew. The cover page says it is Malone's and his wife  
presented it to the US Air Force Academy Library on 5/26/1993.
 
I hope this has helped in some way. I knew John Griggs and I am friends  with 
his wife and family. I thought it would be nice to put this diary on the  
303rd web site for everyone to see. I am still in the process of transcribing  
the diary, and I hope to be done by this weekend. 
 
I will send to Gary Moncur and he is putting it on the web site.
