i .as to be swure others, had bombs get hung in bomb bay. i had to maneuver  
with portable oxygen from nose through engineers legs and turret, .then ,with  
bomb bay doors open. with the thick clumbersome weather boots on, and  
insulated gloves on had to straddle from bomb bay ramp to exterior edge  flange 
hinge  of  bamb bay doors'opening, still with that porta oxygen  tank and  chest  
parachute hung on one chest hook, then wrangle a 500  lb. bomb until it 
clunkered off bomb bay door and onto target. had to get to  radio operators door 
,fortunately i had not depleted completley my oxygen,but  collapsed on radio room 
floor. thankfully and fortunately my radio operator  hooked his porta oxygen 
tank onto me. . thereby ,i was able to maneuver back to  my nose gun/bomb 
sight position and hook up to plane's oxygen  system.
