I am writing to ask for a little assistance for a British POW. I know
that some of you on this list have had dealings with various branches of
the Veterans Administration. If any of you have any knowledge of any
pensions available to British or Canadian citizens who were POWs, could
you email me please? I am the son of an American veteran, and a Canadian
citizen, so all of the help and dealings I did for my father were quite
easy, as both of these governments have fairly easy processes to apply
for and receive benefits.
The man I am dealing with, is a British landed immigrant in Canada. He
was a POW for over two years in northern Germany, after being shot down
in a Lancaster over continental Europe. I will furnish more detail to
those who can help.

Gordy.
