[303rd-Talk] MSFS 303rd Repainting Project

Hal,
Thanks for the input, you are talking about the Duchess, not the
Duchess' Daughter? if so I'll put her on the list. With out input from you
guys I am going by what I find on the site. I realize that the photographs
might not link you guys to your favorite aircraft but it's all I have to go
on without your say so. I'm sure that few if any of you actually have FS
and the WOP add-on, chances are then that you have no reason to download and
open the files. I will tell you that with each repaint I am including a word
file with a crew photo. I am using whichever might be linked from the nose
art page on the 303rd site, unless I get advise or a request to the
contrary. In one case so far I researched a bit to get a crew photo that
included one of the forums relatives who was a tail gunner rather than the
photo linking it to a particular aircraft commander. On one of them I also
included a photo of the ground crew, simply because it was there. I think a
lot of the uninformed assume that you guys always flew the same aircraft,
and no one else flew yours. . Of course the small bit of historical data I
include doesn't to anything to dispel that myth. Now that I am writing this
I think I will come up with a statement to drop in on all of them to make
that clear. In a perfect world I'd include everything I can mine on each
particular aircraft, but it would make the file way too big. I have a link
in it to the associations website encouraging them to research anything that
interests them about the aircraft or group.
