all familiar. we had student ranks as we excelled inleadership. there were  
lots of u s army signal corps enlistees draftees that trandferred to aviation  
cadet staus as radio operayors were needed. in my training i  was perfect  and 
passed  night vision and was rechecked each time at different bases. as  
cadets we could not participate in rough contact sports of any kind. we had all  
routine basic training, chemicals etc.
