[303rd-Talk] Philip McDavid 359BS 15 July 1944

Hello all,

I recently took a trip to spend Thanksgiving with my new Brother in-laws
family in Wilmington NC and I finally got to sit down and talk to his Step
Father, Philip McDavid of Sanford NC-359th BS. I was floored by his sharp
memory and all of the stories he told me, we literally sat for 5 hours and
talked about his experiences. We talked about everything from his training
in California to his Missions in England, and all of his personal ties to
the folks he knew during the war. He has recently over come some health
issues with Diabetes and he wants to get his story told, his health is
fairly good as of now. I run a Video Business here in Lynchburg VA I'm going
to do an interview and documentary with Mr. McDavid soon about his
experiences. I was hoping some of you guys might have some pictures info or
other things that I would be able to use for this project. I'm really
excited about doing this. Mr. McDavid also asked me to pass along a big
Hello to everyone and he would love to hear from old acquaintances.
