My dad was 12 at the time of the attack on Pearl.  He had returned from
church and was reading the comics in front of the radio.  He was too
young to serve during the war but joined the Navy in 46 and served 20
years.  We lived in Pearl from 56 - 58 and my folks have incredible
color slides and videos of Hawaii before the tourist boom took off.  We
have pics of the Arizona with turrets and superstructure still sticking
out of the water.  Amazing stuff!!!
