I wasn't born until 6 years after the event.  But I am a history buff, and I will never forget it.
My parents weren't married yet; they didn't marry until January 1942.  I wish I could tell you where my parents were on Dec. 7, 1941.  
Dad joined the Armed Forces after Pearl Harbor, although 
he had a couple years training, beginning in summer 1942, after that.
