My dad said they used to fly various allied & captured enemy aircraft into Molesworth for the men to see and that's where I think he first saw a P-61.  He really liked that plane and had a wooden model of one that he built at home.  They have a nice one at the Wright Patterson Air Force museum in Dayton Ohio.  I was surprised at how large it is!
