Hi
I've received a message, that probably was sent by mistake to me instead of
Gary. However it was from a Sebastian Baumbach, who lives near the Bullay
bridge that was bombed in mission 292. He was asking if there was anyone who
was on that mission, who could give him more information about the mission,
and/or might have aerial views from the mission.
I made a quick scan of the CDROM info, and notice that Jim Walling and Bob
Hand of this group were on that mission, perhaps I missed some. I searched the
303rdbg.com web page, but only found a photo of the planes on the mission. I'm
responding to him just to make sure he has seen the mission summary on the web
page, but in the event that anyone else has any information that may be of
interest, you can respond directly to him if you wish.

Subject: Documents of aerial views of WWII

Dear Mr. Jones,

i have some Questions for you.
At first.. i am from Germany and very interested in the WWII at my home
and round about it.
I live in Alf, Germany.. its directly on the other side of the river
"Mosel" at Bullay where 42 Bombers
of the 358th in Mission 292 bombed the bridge of Bullay.
I`ve found some interesting Pictures at the Website of the 303rd Bomb
Group Association.
Now my Question..
I would have to write some Stuff about the History of my Homeplace.
Do you have some Veterans who were in this Mission and are still alive
to give me some
information or something about the Mission 292 or do you have some
aerial view from Bullay or aerial maps ?

An answer would be very great
And sorry for my bad english...

Yours sincerely

Sebastian Baumbach
