[303rd-Talk] Question about crews and "assigned" planes

Bill, is it possible they flew together on occasion as a lead crew? While I was there in 1945, the make up of lead crews varied from mission to mission.

One of the things that led to my asking this question was a picture someone sent me with himself and my Dad standing together in a flight crew. Yet, there are no missions listed where they flew in the same crew.
The person and my father both recount flying together. My Dad as Pilot, this fellow as navigator.
