If memory serves me correctly----The sun always came up in the north???
Therefor we came out of site #1 and turn to the left-actually west- on the 
road
that lead to Old Weston.The first road to the right led to the showers & a 
;ittle ways
beyond the hopital [on the left side of the road ] was the mess hall.[[ 2nd 
Lt. ordanance
officer that never made 1st LT. used to eat there because the officers club 
wouldn't let
him in while wearing dirt work cloths.One time he came in and went to the 
front of the line
& his crew went up and drug him back to the end.[laughing all the time] 
Don't remember
if he was there any other time.]] We went out the back door of the mess 
hall -caught a
British lorry-"bus" that took us to work via the east end of the runway.

I just checked the map & The shower I believe were in the Communal. site 3. 
It
runs in my mind there was an officers mess there too.
