Seasons Greetings to all of you from Nebraska - "The Good Life"
1;40 PM as I start this epistle --34 deg. - sun shining brightly. The
results of Wed storm have dissapated.---1/4" ice a skiff of snow &
broken & downed tree limbs all over this town of 1200! We were lucky!!
Our daughter & her husand live in Curtis = 1" ice and 4" snow --Hayes Center
west of them in the SW corner of NE - 15" - North Platte [at the conjunction
of the NO. & So. Platte Rivers] 8". Thursday Denver CO. had 23"" of snow.
Airport jammed. One lady was lte for her own wedding. Opened up yesterday.
Must be aging a bit---seems a relief when the family is gone. 15 for dinner. The
two kids and their kids furnish the meal & Sweetie Face" makes the dessert.
on the plus side --- hardly any one ate pie for Xmas dinner y
esterday. so for the
rest of the week "Sweetie Face" [her parents named her Opal] & I will live in
luxury with almost three pies in the fridge.
Keep your powder dry - put your trust in Goad & beware of the man wearing
two guns. For in wearing these he knows their qualifications & their limitations.
In knowing these he has increased the qualifications & decreased the limitations!!!!!
My Rainbow touch your shoulder & Southwind blow softly on yout tipi!!!!
Make it a Nice Day!!!!!!!!!!-----------Maurice --------P.S. the town & the people are slow
cleaning up the limbs.
