Bob--I know of only one case like that. Wilhelm Kruetz - bunked in the
Supply baracks. Think he came in 1944 when the supply got quite a
number of new men. His father died. [Mother had someone write her
letters to him.] He was quite unhappy. He contacted every one he
could think of. The way he talked he blamed the Red Cross. He stayed
till June of "45
Saw him in th 50s --he had changed his name to William. He was born in
Essen, Germany -- moved to US age of 6 months---now deceassed-----Maurice
