Bob,
Cannot help you with the poem, but Jim Walling, now
resident in Honolulu was one such aircrew member.
His plane landed away from home base on that Christmas
Eve, and he stayed with his pilot for the next day take-off
As he said, drinking beer in a strange canteen, thinking
of his new wife of a few months home in America, he was
not a happy bunny.
