I, too, got the postcard in the mail.
I have no problem with the quality, production, or distribution of the
documentary.
I DO have a problem that I never gave my address to anyone to use or
distribute to anyone else. How was it obtained.
Don't get me wrong, I am not against any sort of this production, or the
quality, or the legitimacy of anything produced. I offer my own book, "A
Diary of the First Combat Wing", on a few sites and to a few certain
people. I approve of the message getting out to those who need to know.
I do object to my home mailing address being available to someone I
don't even know, without a request. This is a little bit serious due to
fact that someone seems to have obtained all of our addresses. The
reason for that is that someone else on the internet, with malicious
intent, could also obtain all of our addresses.

Gordy.

Bill,
I too recieved the post card in the mail last week. I went to the
website to
check it out. It looks like a legit production company that does mostly
documentaries about various branches of the military during WWII. Most
of
the video's they have to offer deal with various groups of the 8th AF.
I'm
still contemplating whether to purchase the video of the 303rd until I
got
more info from this list. You beat me to it!

I'm sure the Assc. in some way deemed the project worthwhile and
wupplied a
mailing list of us members. Just waiting to hear what others have to say
about it.

Only the Best!!
